Im using the 325bee for 2 months now. I've owned so far Harman Kardon (PM 650 and HK970). The NAD is even more powerful than my late 970 which has a 2x75W rating (and 80Amps dynamic punch) and can drive big loudspeakers to earsplitting volumes. The Soft Clipping is a big advantage too, not allowing speakers to go barking at high volumes. The sound is a little bit on the dark side, maybe part because im using Mission m35i speakers. The bass is very tight, short and punchy (and very powerful in my room, way to powerful) the mids are cristal clear, while the highs are bright but very controled (not like HK where highs can seriously hurt your inner ears)
The design is, yes, not the most inspired one, but the amp looks ok. Not ugly. when viewed in pictures, may look ugly but in reality, is very decent looking.
The only bad thing i can manage to find are the speaker terminals through which you can only slip max 3mm cables.
ps. the volume knob is not that sensitive at very low volumes, when listening at night. Also, at very low volumes, perhaps a loudness button would've been nice.

Hmmmm....
I have to say that I don't recognise the criticisms (albeit minor) levelled at this amp. For the money, it is a terrific performer, and having test listened it against apparently superior 5 star performers, I'm at a loss to understand where it fails against them.
Elsewhere in the audio world, this amp gets 5 star reviews. I suppose us civilians just don't listen to enough kit, often enough........

I have to say I'm at a bit of a loss when it comes to amplifier reviews. I started listening to music in an age where just getting a decent frequency response was a big deal. Nowadays most amps can deliver this and more than enough power for a decent home set up.
This amp does all that I need it to do and does it well. It handles all the sound sources connected to it and presents, to my ear, an accurate rendition of them. If required, I'm sure I could shake out the odd window at full volume. Music DVD's are now on our shopping list as a serious alternative to CD thanks to being able to hook the DVD audio output up to the amp. A better choice of labelling on the source controls might have helped "CD" is fine but "DVD" would be a better choice than "Video" perhaps? The ability to bypass the (almost redundant surely?) tone controls is a benefit at this price point.
A fine amplifier in my, admittedly, budget system.
