Cartridge Screws

I'm just setting up my new tonearm - SME IV. However the supplied mounting screws are too long. I have an Ortofon Kontrapunkt B and they screw into the body of the catridge and don't use nuts to secure. I can use the original ones that came with my cartridge but they are brass and the heads are a bit damaged. I want some new silver ones to replace. However, I'm not able to find any.

I need M2.5 x 5mm. I think M2.5 is standard for cartridge screws but I can only found ones longer than this.
I tried my local hardware stores and even the specialist ones don't have any.

Anyone got any ideas please?

Many thanks!

Re: Cartridge Screws

Thanks Andrew. I'll contact them. I think I'll contact Henley Designs and SME to see if they can help.

Re: Cartridge Screws

Love to hear your impressions of the IV once it is set-up. Apparently brass screws are better for audio! There is also a little free mod to the SMEs (309, IV & V) which I have done with my 309 which you might want to try once you have got it all sorted out.
