I just bought the Sony 40w4500 (so much for using school loans for school) and I am familiar with components in the US, but since I moved to the UK, I am in re-learning mode.
I want to know what the best HDMI cables would be for my system, primarily for TV-PS3 and TV-HD Box. I saw some on the site, for my purposes, does that change at all? How do they compare to some of the Belkin PureAV series HDMI cables (as they seem good).
What is the best surge protector I can get? Since this isn't on the site, I would like opinions. Again, back to Belkin, I saw the PureAV series has an Isolator and Protector that seems solid without spending a ton on some other models like Monster or better.
Finally, what, if any, would be the best HDMI-mini DVI (for hooking up Mac to TV) and best Digital Optical Audio Cable? I have thousands of full quality DVDs on 1TB external HDs (to save wall and room space) and would like to hook them up directly to the TV to watch DVD's without having to convert them to my PS3 or ship out my Oppo.
