Ipod Speakers needed for a 40th Birthday party - Claire, are the Logitech's still the best bet?

I realise there have been numerous threads on this but I need some advice as my wife's 40th b-day party is coming up and I want a decent set of speakers in which to sit my new ipod touch.  Our lounge isn't huge so the sound doesn't have to be huge but I want it to be loud enough to rise above the general chit chat you get at parties.

There seems to be a ridiculous variety of ipod speakers available with numerous reviews giving different opinions on the same products but I've looked at the Klipsch igroove SXT, the logitech pure fi anywhere, Bose, fatman i-tube with dock carbon edition, intempo ifi-01 (though not sure if you can get these anymore) and the KEF picoforte 1, which all seem to have had very good reviews.

Obviously it's got to be compatible with the new ipod touch which I realise could be an issue.

Claire, your pick seems to be the logitech from previous Posts but is there a new set of speakers that are due out imminently that are also worth considering?

Any help would be greatly appreciated as the party's in a couple of weeks!

The jamo i300 will rock the foundations of any party believe me!

This is very loud and sounds great!
