could someone please offer me some help?..

Looking at buying the PZ85, but have read some reports that this model dos not produce such deep blacks as earlier panny models, Which models are they?.

Would you say that the built in freesat tuners in the panny range are as good if not better than that of the Humax?.

Finally I  have been told that for SD the plasma will give you a better image than that of Lcd any advise please..

Not sure about the blacks! i have a 46pz85 and the blacks a very impressive indeed sooo glad i went for a plasma i cant really get over how much better it is than my old LCD which in itself was a pretty good tv

It is not true that 46PZ85 have worse black level than previous models. This seson's plasma model's from Panasonic delivers the best black levels ever from Panasonic! You have to go to Pioneer plasma's or perhaps a few of the new LED backlight LCD screens to find superior blacks.
