Home Cinema Speaker Package - £1,600 Budget

Want to get a total new Home Cinema and am first looking at the speakers.

Was considering the B&W 684 or B&W 685's. However, these seem to be hard to come by, on the Internet anyway.

To combine with a Yamaha DSP-AX863SE AV amplifier, not included in the budget.

However, there might be better speaker packages out there for a £1,600 speaker budget.

This will of course be used for watching films in great quality sound (where possible Stick out tongue)

Thanks for the advice.

James

Personally I would go for the Monitor Audio RS1 package. I am slowly getting my package together and love what I have so far!
Cyrus 7 Amp, Straight Line Amp, CD6s, AV Master, Tri-Arbour Rack. MA RS1 on Super Dreadnaughts. MA RS LCR. Mission 78DS. Yamaha Sub. Pioneer DVD-LX50. Sony PS3. Samsung 37M86. Merlin Chopins, IRC6 and Tarantulas. Tacima Block. Grado SR60.

I really wish you could B&W online.

 Thanks for the two posts.

 Any more recommendations?

Are you UK based?

Yes.

Its the only reason I am considering other makes, because you can't buy them online.

Is it absolutely necessary to buy online? Give a few shops a ring, play them off against each other and then ask them to post the speakers to you.

Its just from preference, I feel safer ordering online from a reputable company rather than giving details over the phone.

I may still order the B&W via phone but are there any more options?

So alternatives to the B&W around the same price/quailty?
