Nice set up.i have the same t.v as you do you notice any cracking noises from it,i have mine wall mounted so that might be why mine does.

beater, i haven't noticed any cracking sounds while watching, just the normal static when i switch the tv off.


 


evilwolf, my wifes hates the tiles, something about showing to much dirt. ( i have 2 jack russells who love digging up the garden and then running thru my house.)

Thanks for the reply Charl,mine makes cracking noises when i turn it on for a couple of hours then when i have turned it off,i had a replacment set as the first set was the same but no different with this one,must just be because it's on the wall.

Hi Beater, what seems to be the picture problems?


My settings are as follows : Cinema, Colour temp = standard, Colour management = off, MPEG Nr = Strong, Contrast = 50, Brightness = 50, Colour = 60 and Sharpness = 50

Thanks for your reply charl,just seem to have noticed more blocking on my picture than normal i will give your settings a try.

I had the same problems with analogue signals but was fine thru my PVR decoder. Messing around with the settings eventually sorted it out. I also noticed a difference when changing to 576p from 576i on my amp.

Hi Beater, i know you said you have the same tv. My Panasonic Viera Model TH-50PV70M, what is your model number? I know some model numbers do change, depending on country.

My model number is th50px70, but looking at your pictures i can't see any difference.Just out of interest how far are you sitting from your t.v.

I reckon it is the same tv, panasonic changes the model number for tv's imported to South Africa. Seating distance is 5 meters. How is your amp connected to the tv, HDMI? I used component but changed to HDMI and noticed a huge difference. My component cable was a cheapie but i'm using QED for HDMI.
